I'm a writer/journalist currently involved on a project regarding people who have decided to get away from it all and live remotely. I'm looking for someone to feature who lives in the Dumfries and Galloway (surrounding Kirkcudbright) area, as I will be there from July 21 for a few days. My ideal person is someone who has decided the rat-race isn't for them. I'd like to know the reasons behind them wanting to go and live alone, the rewards they get and the trials they may have been/go through once there. Of course the more interesting the personal story, the better. This is unpaid, and the contributor will have to not mind their life being written about in print, or being photographed.
