We are looking for a .Net/ASP and Java Developer in Jersey City, New Jersey to assist in various projects on the teams. Among these projects will be work related to the compliance project and a project to rewrite the application which handles self service password resets. Duties include: * Ensures the application interacts efficiently with interfacing applications and platforms * Design, develop and test components including stored procedures on the database * Participate in production troubleshooting, testing, and process automation efforts The following skills, knowledge and experience are required for this position unless noted otherwise: * 3+ years .NET/ASP development experience * 3+ years experience working in both Unix and Windows development environments * 3+ years development experience with J2EE/Java * Systems analysis; ability to read and comprehend business and functional requirements to develop detailed design documents * Basic understanding of Systems Development Lifecycle * Excellent analytical, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills coupled with a strong work ethic and problem solving and analytical skills * Solid design, coding, testing and debugging skills * Ability to translate business requirements into functional requirements documentation * Experience to apply software design, implementation, testing and debugging techniques
