I am not a writer but thought the story was an easy way for those interested in learning more about what we do and how we do it. In the story, I symbolize a persons financial journey as a voyage across the ocean. Everyone has a final destination they want to reach and all would love it to be a simply direct course. The reality is that life will cause people to change course several times during their journey. Storms will rise up that they will have to deal with but in the end they will reach their final destination. The story is only 4 pages long and is relatively broad in its discussion of financial planning and investments. It really is a rough draft that needs help from an expert to make it more powerful and effective in its deliver. Plus there is also the issue of grammar, punctuation and various other areas where help is likely needed. Given that I am not a writer nor have I ever used an editor before I dont know how this works or what to expect.
