Job Summary: The Design Director will lead the creative design direction for the Tribeca brand including; marketing, creative services, content development and design strategy across all entities. The Design Director will contribute to the strategy and messaging of existing assets, as well as the future development of new products, content, events, etc. The Design Director will report to the EVP, Marketing and Content and will play a major role in enhancing the image and value of the Tribeca Brand. Core Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Design • Contribute to all branding work that supports the development of the Tribeca brand • Collaborate with internal teams in developing creative solutions for marketing and communication • Oversee the design of all graphical work • Direct the dissemination and control of the style guide and develop the process that supports the upkeep of all brand designs • Design products and services that are consistent across all Tribeca entities • Direct and manage the design of all marketing materials, including; web, print, event, video etc. • Work closely with internal teams to direct the redesign of the digital ecosystem; including the website, tablet, mobile, apps for the festival, apps for Tribeca film and original content • Collaborate with other designers in developing the vision and strategy for the digital products, including; design concepts and production • Direct and manage the design for all Tribeca events; including Festival and other year round activities Content • Oversee the creation of original content ideas for the online channel and develop the packaging for film distribution • Develop ideas and concept boards for original ideas • Support the EVP in staffing up the content team • Develop and maintain a list of potential creative partners and collaborators that can be leveraged as resources to complete projects, as needed • Work in collaboration with the team and Tribeca leadership to drive the content strategy throughout the other entities Management • Recruit and manage staff • Mentor existing design talent to support skills training and development • Assign and manage projects as need basis • Contribute to development of team budgets and timelines for creative projects To apply for this posting, send your resume and samples of your work to: resumes@tribecafilm.com
