Our Client's IT Engineering Team is looking for a seasoned engineer to build solutions ranging from backend services to web and mobile applications. You will be joining a unique engineering team solving problems for a globally expanding company. As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for leading projects that require collaboration across organizations while ensuring code quality with code reviews, unit tests, and documentation. We are a fast moving team covering many facets of technology. Required Skills: Expert knowledge of Java and Python Experienced in building scalable Web 2.0 applications Experienced with relational databases (MySQL) 5+ years of building web based applications Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment Ability to learn and integrate with third party applications BS, MS. PhD in Computer Science or related discipline Excellent communication skills Preferred Skills: Expertise in web frameworks such as Grails, Django, or Rails Experience in mobile development (iOS/Android) Knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JSON Knowledge and understanding of RESTful API Ability to influence software design and system architecture
