As part of the Program Management Office (PMO), the Senior Business Information Analyst will utilize Project Web Access (PWA) to support issue, risk, change, and decision management to enable successful project execution. The individual should have strong analytical skills, is detail-oriented, and understands the organization's service oriented model. The candidate must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and have good verbal and written communication skills. The candidate will be in various forums in the program to coordinate with multiple Project Teams in proactively identifying risks, issues, decisions, and change requests. The candidate will be ensuring quality in processes and program adherence to processes established. The candidate will consult and make recommendations to management on significant issues. Responsibilities: Provides analytical support through the analysis and interpretation of data in support of cross-functional business operations Defines business requirements and provides analysis toward operational efficiency Analyzes actual results against plan and forecast and recommends interventions where appropriate Identifies opportunities for improvement in operational performance and notifies management of issues and problems requiring immediate attention Works cross-functionally in analyzing, designing and developing business solutions Provides analytical support for multiple projects simultaneously, establishes work plans and timelines; coordinates with internal and external sources May make presentations to various levels of management Works under general supervision, using established procedures The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate: Ability to work across multi-functional teams and management Excellent Excel Knowledge Business Analyst Consultant background for at least 5 years Knowledge of the software development life cycle Experience in MS Project, MS Visio, MS Access, Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint is strongly preferred.
