I just recently started a blog using Wordpress and I'm looking to spruce it up a bit. Wordpress responsive themes are confusing and I can't figure out the coding at all so I really need help. The design layout is elaborate, yet fairly simple on paper. Basically, I want the site to look similar to this site: /. What I want is for my site to be laid out in exact same format, but the color scheme and graphics to be different. I want my site to have a monochrome (black and white) theme. Here's a more detailed, but short list… 1.) The Site's Logo can be placed where his logo is and the red stripe that runs above the menu can be white. 2.) I would the like the font to change to a light blue color when someone hovers their mouse over a link or clicks it. 3.) The Menus can be the same as his but, make the font white. 4.) On the static page (or pages) of the site, I like would like the left side of the background to be black with white stars going down vertically and the right side of the background to be white with black stars doing the same. 5.) Leave it so that my posts can be the regular background white like if I were to be writing on a Microsoft document or like all other blog posts. 6.) Also, this is probably pushing it, but if you could change the color of social widgets or plugins (like facebook, twitter, etc) to match the black and white theme of the site, that'll be great! In fact, if you can assign me with an easily responsive theme that will allow me to do all of this myself that'll be fine too.
