Joomla Custom Template & Logo
I already have an industry specific Employment, Resource & Social Newtorking website. Now, I'd like to create an English language website for the foreign community living in one exact country in a non-English speaking part of the world. I need a new logo and template created. However, I would like the new website template to look extremely similar to my existing website. You can essentially copy my existing website's layout and design and you would have access to those files. You would just need to change the colors and make some small unique modifications so it has its own brand identity. I want users to know that the websites are together and part of the same network, but I still want to keep slightly different brand identity and not feel like its the exact same website. I have already installed JomSocial and Easyblog to a new blank Joomla! 2.5 platform. But nothing more. You would need to do the following listed below: 1. Static & Animated Banner Style Logo: I would like to see about 6 or more different static logo styles. I can choose my favorite and have two more edits/changes done to it. Then it is finalized. Then you will create 3 different animated logos based on that static logo. I will choose one, which you will make two more edits/changes to. Then it is finalized. Obviously you will install the logo to the webiste. The animated logo will only be seen when clicking on to the homepage. The static logo will be seen when clicking on the other pages of the website (so users don't get tired of looking at it). 2. Custom Registration Page & Single Sign-On (removing any default and language of JomSocial and Easyblog): Users should only register once. They don't need to register for both extensions separately. Combine the most important and common required fields from both extensions into one form. At the top of the form, make some small custom registration message/banner letting them know many of the great features available to them and why it's good to register and become a member. Also, ensure that JomSocial and Easyblog are sharing the same tables and databases in Joomla backend and therefore, there is single sign-on. Also, ensure that they are sharing the same default Joomla! backend tables and databases, so that if a user updates the primary logo/avatar/image on the blog section it gets updated on the social section, too. Same with all other critical data, like emails, usernames, passwords, etc. Users will sign in on the left panel of the website (exactly the same as my existing website, you can copy same dimensions and features from it). 3. Combine the main display features of both JomSocial and Easyblog into one uniform homepage: So, users see different windows for the recent blogs, recent videos, recent photos, new members, calendar of events, etc. Easyblog and JomSocial each have these types of windows for users to see various recent and popular activity. They should all be displayed in the home page in a very organized and uniform layout. Users' account pages and menus for each jomsocial and easyblog can be different from each other as they currently are, but just on the home page the activity windows from each should all be combined together. Home page should feel very active with a lot of information and feeling of lots of information and activity is here - excitement. 4. Unified Colors and Text Fonts: This should be obvious, but worth stating that the main website, jomsocial and easyblog should all be using the same exact font styles, colors and sizes. Except for logo, all font must be arial in all places. It must be black, gray or blue or sometimes red for warnings, required fields and errors. It can be different sizes to show headers, buttons and titles and obvious differences. However, my point is that Jomsocial can't be one font style and Easyblog is a different and the main website is a third. This is also true for background colors and main menu bars.
