Marketing Manager
Marketing Manager Financial Services Sector £300 - £350 per day, depending on experience 6 month + contract role, immediate start Our client leading financial services firm is on the search for an experienced Marketing Manager to join their Marketing Team for a six-month interim basis starting ASAP. To be considered for this role applicants must demonstrate significant experience in the Financial Services sector. The successful candidate for this role will demonstrate they have the requisite skills and experience and will also be looking to be part of a dynamic Marketing team, be committed to training and development, be looking to gain valuable experience and will see the opportunities for progression a large organisation provides. Main responsibilities: To assist in development of multi-channel strategic marketing plans, (including briefs and budgets) for the Investment Trust business in conjunction with marketing and business heads To assist in supporting the Investment Trust business using a targeted marketing strategy across all channels - from Institutional to Direct clients To work with internal agency and relevant business areas to implement communications activities across the full marketing mix including advertising, marketing materials, e-commerce activities, events, press relations, market research and presentation graphics To work closely with the Marketing and Business teams for the new direct online Wealth Manager+ platform promoting it to Investment Trust clients as a mechanism for purchase To evaluate all marketing activity and ensure results are fed back to the business and its clients To assist in preparation of board reports / presentations outlining company marketing strategies including updating industry trends/figures, analysis of investor base, communication of activities To coordinate the data required for client mailings’ this task ranges from briefing the data provision teams, to checking the data, to supplying it to the mail house To prepare for and participate in monthly Investment Trust marketing meeting, attended by other key business heads i.e. Product Development, Company Secretariat, Client Reporting, etc To assist in allocation and management of marketing budget To liaise with a range of disciplines within the business to successfully execute plans, including central marketing team, sales, legal, compliance, call centre and operations To execute and manage regular and regulatory mailings; provide input to the process, sign off on communications plans, copy and creative, provide channel messages To ensure that communication processes and content adhere to company/industry standards and compliance regulations To undertake regular reviews of all marketing collateral (brochures, advertisements, websites) across different channels to ensure relevant and up to date. Manage and execute updating process To manage daily issues and questions from Client Services (and outsourced administrator) on general customer experience issues To maintain calendar of all activities across Investment Trust business To attend client events as appropriate and regional forums Experience and skills: Experience in marketing / marketing-related arena with strong client focus in asset management / financial services Product knowledge, and in particular a knowledge and understanding of Investment Trusts and the industry is preferable Familiarity with working in complex matrix structure, and bringing together various parts of business together to drive forward a common agenda is essential Ability to manage website content, website reviews and small enhancements Demonstrated writing skills Ability to manage multiple relationships, both within marketing team, and with internal clients, is critical to success of the role
