Design - Beauty/Health website redesign needed
Organization name Wellneo Description of the organization and its target audience Wellneo is a webstore selling health and beauty related products in Central & Eastern Europe area. Currently portfolio is slimming, diet, food supplement oriented but strategy is to switch to more "Health & Beauty" proposition having the categories mentioned above only as a subcategories under the umbrella proposition. From Wellneo statement: "To our customers we provide credible, carefully selected, trustworthy, good quality products & solutions with emphasis on certified, tested and proven cosmetic, food supplements, meal replacements and other health related products." Target audience: Genetis: Age: 35-50 Male: Yes Female: Yes Average Income: + € 1,300 net (middle, higher grade) Additional information: We target individuals, primarily women, more educated, who understand the importance of healthy living and preventive action, ie. They look a lot (eg, pregnant women - for themselves and children, businessmen, ...). Targetiramo including those that give emphasis to the active life (sports, recreation). Because the product is positioned higher, is more suitable for individuals who have a more orderly life and are more financially stable. Primarily emphasize health, which may include lower positioned, for example. with current health problems or. to the problem health background (inherited). The analysis is suitable for both children and adults. Education: higher education Industry Cosmetics & Beauty Existing website to reference www.wellneo.si Number of pages needed 3 Page descriptions The whole site should be designed rather modular, so that elements would work in different kind of combinations without breaking design flow. 1. Homepage Listing the top promotions, deeper content (ask an expert, testimonials etc...), top products etc. working as a gateway to different parts of webstore. Main navigation should include: Diet Genetic Health Beauty Sport Nutrition Best deals (exposed) 2. Category page Importance on the left navigation offering the clear, simple and structured navigation to deeper categories. 3. Product page Well structured, so that even if some elements are missing the design holds and looks finalized (many of the elements are to be tested). Style/theme ideas for the website None specified. What to avoid 1) Static elements without HTML as the site will need to be localized easily to 20 different languages. 2) Elements with very limited place for descriptions etc. text should be considered very carefully due to the language lengths (e.g. Hungarian words are really long). 3) Fonts that do not support ščćđáýůří etc. 4) Too clinical look (as the proposition is heading towards beauty category) Inspirational websites www.johnlewis.com Elements are designed so that lots of text can come from system enabling easy localization. Notes You can use product images from existing Wellneo site (www.wellneo.si) and if you need some source images etc. let me know and I will send. Important note is that we would possibly want to continue the cooperation with the winner designer if satisfied and hold this as important factor as well.
