Are you an experienced GP Receptionist? Do you enjoy the flexibility of temporary work? Our GP surgeries across London are seeking experienced, reliable, enthusiastic Receptionists to work on a temporary basis ASAP. The assignments can range from one day to a month or longer depending on the need of the client. You may be covering sickness, annual leave or just be an extra pair of hands! You MUST have recent experience of working within a GP surgery on reception and able to deal with a high volume of calls, take messages accurately, book and cancel appointments, register new patients and deal with any administration when required. You must have knowledge (and have used recently) EMIS LV, EMIS Web, EMIS PCS, Vision or Synergy. Knowledge of Docman and/or Choose and Book would also be an advantage. Along with the above skills you should take pride in your appearance, be clearly spoken with good English, be able to multi task and work quickly but accurately, be a good listener and have a calm manner. You will also be a team player and willing to assist your colleagues and Management when required. Some of our surgeries are very busy, therefore can be demanding places to work, but with the right skills, knowledge and enthusiasm they can also be rewarding places to work.
