Electronic Assemblers
Electronic Assemblers Operates assigned production station or production equipment. Assembly operations: Assembles electro-mechanical devices using a variety of hand tools and specialized jigs. This may include assembling components, connectors, displays, wiring, nuts, screws, gaskets, shielding, cases, etc. Accurately records production information on to daily check sheets. Inspection operations: May be responsible for inspecting assemblies and completed product. May also be responsible for inspecting specific types of defects or specific area of the sub assembly or product. Communicates to Team Leader when quality defects are detected and labels defects per the appropriate work instruction. Testing operations: conducts test operations using specialized testing equipment. Operates equipment to test circuit boards, assemblies, completed units, etc. Responsible for making sure defective units are properly labeled and moved to the designated area for further analysis. Identifies and suggests ways to make job tasks or processes more efficient, maintaining a state of continuous improvement.
