Direct involvement in document control processes Physical kitting/dekitting of work orders per Production Manager Direction Assembles electrical and mechanical assemblies following written procedures and workmanship standards specified in IPC-A-610 Programs electronic memory devices following written procedures Inspects and tests electrical and mechanical assemblies following written procedures Understands and complies with established clean room practices Understands and complies with production safety procedures Assembles R&D electrical and mechanical assemblies/prototypes following responsible engineer's direction Requirements: You will need to have the following skills for this opportunity: Minimum 5 years experience in electromechanical assembly Minimum 2 years working in FDA or ISO regulated quality system environment Understanding of proper electromechanical assembly techniques per IPC-A-610 Working knowledge of tools commonly used in electromechanical assembly, including wiring tools and procedures (stripping, tinning, crimping, etc.) Excellent soldering skills Proper ESDS procedures Ability to follow written instructions and understand basic engineering documentation - drawings, procedures and diagrams Understanding of FDA/ISO work environment as it relates to incident reporting, nonconforming materials procedures, and equipment calibration Basic personal computer skills Ability to handle multiple tasks/prioritization of work - minimal supervision Volt is an equal opportunity employer Location: Golden, CO Type: CONTRACT Duration: 90 - 120 Days Pay Rate: 12.00 - 15.00 Hourly DOE Contact: Volt Workforce Solutions 2000 S.
