Online Content Editor   Our large Federal Government Department Client is in a significant period of growth and requires an experienced Online Content Editor for an initial 12 month contract.   This position is based in Canberra.  The role: In order to be considered for this position, candidates must be of Australian Citizenship, who currently holds or has an ability to obtain a security clearance. Furthermore, your day to day responsibilities will include:  • Write and edit content for the Department's Intranet website, ensuring that Australian Government and departmental standards are met • Liaising with  content owners to ensure content on the Intranet is current, accurate and relevant • Undertaking strategic review and analysis of web content to ensure the department's Intranet information is aligned with the needs of users • Prepare and publish website content • Assist with publishing of the Department's external website as required • Undertake administrative tasks associated with content management and publication • Other duties as required   As the ideal candidate, you will be in possession of the following skills and experience:   • demonstrated ability to write and edit content with an awareness of online audiences • proven experience in web content preparation and publishing, including the ability to author content for browser-based display using graphical HTML editors such as Dreamweaver and/or content management system HTML editing capability • experience with at least one content management system.
