2 roles in Oregon 1 role in Raleigh The Sr. Java Developer will be working on the design and development of applications with state-of-the-art technologies, including SOA architecture, messaging, ILOG JRules, Enterprise Service Bus and Web Services; providing technical leadership in the development team; delivering quality software products based on project plans. Design and develop applications on Websphere in Java/J2ee. Design and develop efficient batch jobs for transferring large volumes of business data. Provide performance tuning for business applications based on Service Level Agreement (SLA). Deploy applications to Rule Execution Server and WebSphere Application Server TECHNICAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Significant hands-on experience with full lifecycle project development. Significant hands-on experience with SOA, Web Services, Significant hands-on experience with WebSphere Application Server v7. Any Web Application Server is ok. Significant experience with Spring, Hibernate, Struts, Maven, Ant and CVS is desired. Significant hands-on experience with developing SOA services preferably with IBM WID v7. Significant integration experience with any ESB Significant hands-on experience with Java, J2EE, EJB, JMS, JDBC, SQL, XML, JSP and JMS (preferably MQ) Practical application debugging and troubleshooting skills. Plusses include: Clustering, Cloud computing, different SOA stack, WS* specifications, jBPM and Drools GENERAL SKILLS: Highly motivated, results-oriented, strong technical leadership Great team player and effective communicator with different types of people Excellent documentation skills Be able to work in multi-tasking way and prioritize tasks reasonably MINIMUM & PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related fields preferred. 8 years of professional software development experience. 5 years of professional Java / J2EE experience.
