Technical Program Product Manager II
Successful members of this team collaborate effectively with internal end-users, cross-functional software development teams, and data engineering teams to solve problems, implement new reporting solutions, and deliver successfully against high operational standards of system availability and reliability. The Technical Program Product Manager II will work with the several stakeholders supporting Sales, Business Development, and Partner teams to provide monthly reporting and help automate BI systems. The ideal candidate will draw upon solid analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills, deep software development experience, and a passion for creating maintainable, highly reliable and scalable systems. This role is in Seattle, Washington. Key responsibilities include: Generate the monthly worldwide sales billed revenue reporting Manage existing and design/implement reporting solutions for stakeholders Provide actionable intelligence with existing metrics or identify, develop, and propose new metrics Manage monthly data input into budget, forecast, and other financial models Provide recommendations through ad hoc data retrieval and analysis from relational databases, Excel, and other data management systems As the successful applicant, you will possess the following requirements: BS/BA in an analytical area such as Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or equivalent work experience 2+ years in financial reporting or equivalent, based on multi-transactional inputs 5+ years working experience in business intelligence or equivalent with progressively increasing responsibility 5+ years of industry experience building scalable reporting solution and automation tools Strong SQL, data modeling, dimensional data modeling Proficiency with an OO language (Java or C++), Script (Perl, Java Script) and design patterns Experience with any/all of the following preferred: Web services XML, XSLT, REST, SOAP, SharePoint, and Excel Linux / Unix skills Preferred Qualifications: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work successfully in a dynamic, ambiguous environment Ability to develop new ideas and creative solutions Experience analyzing data and communicating the results to business leaders Knowledge of basic statistics and working with statistical software packages Experience in scripting for data analysis Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize Advanced problem-solving skills for difficult to complex issues
