Located in South West London this thriving 2 form entry Primary school has excellent public transport links and is in walking distance from 2 northern line stations. Every year this Primary School is highly oversubscribed due to its popularity and growing reputation within the Borough. A larger than average 2 form Primary School catering for students from a diverse and multicultural heritage, this is a true Inner City Primary School. In 2010 the school has an Ofsted inspection and was awarded an overall ‘Good’, with many ‘Outstanding’ features. Following on from the last inspection the Headteacher and staff members are looking to become ‘Outstanding’ in EVERY category, and they believe with the determination and drive of an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant this can be achieved. They are now looking for an ambitious Graduate to fulfil this Teaching Assistant role. If you are successful, you will be working with a Year 6 Class. Most of your time will be used working whole class on literacy, numeracy and Science topics. There might be occasions when you are required to work with pupils on a 1:1 basis, but this will still be within the Classroom. The Head has informed me that this is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Pre-PGCE graduate, especially if you want to work in a fantastic, vibrant inner city primary school. If this sounds like the post you’ve been looking for, you will need to show an exemplary academic record. You will need to be a creative, passionate, patient and empathetic candidate who loves nothing more than to help others. If you believe this is your calling, and you want to work in an environment that constantly moves forward we would love to hear from you. The post is only open to graduates who are interested in pursuing a career as a Primary Teacher. If this sounds like a great opportunity not to be missed you need to email a CV and covering letter to Nikki at Edustaff ASAP!
