We want you to develop a Dynamic Link Library (DLL) component with the following features. • The component must be able to capture a live TV or radio broadcast from either the internet or a TV or Radio Set and provide an output for the total number of times a TV and Radio commercial is carried in a specific time. Eg. How many spot adverts of Gino Rice was aired on 1st July 2012 on TV3 and GTV from 10:00am to 11:00pm . • The component must be able to function properly irrespective of the TV or Radio commercial's quality/property . That is good/poor sound, visual and/or noise distortion. • The component must be able to provide accurate output of at least 30% of a TV and/or Radio commercial's property with a duration of 5 seconds (minimum) to 3 minutes (maximum). • The component must be able to be easily embedded into VB.Net or C#.Net systems (both web and windows based). • The component must be able to accept input from audio formats such as .mp3, .wav and video formats which includes .avi , .mpg, .vob etc. Problems Of Our System • It is not able to render accurate counts when quality of advert is poor / bad which includes both visual or audio • It is not able to provide accurate counts when the length of the advert is more than a minute. • The system is not able to differentiate between only music and voice when counting.
