Talent Acquisition Specialist – 12 month contract   Canon, the acknowledged leader in digital imaging in Canada and ranked in the top 20 of Most Admired Companies in the world by Fortune Magazine, has an opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Specialist – 12 month contract in Montreal, QC.    The Opportunity    The incumbent will be accountable for the entire recruitment life cycle and will be expected to attract and recruit top talent through efficient, cost-effective and creative ways. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for facilitating the hiring process for all divisions in Canon Canada Inc.      Key Objectives ·      Recruiting, screening, and interviewing internal and external applicants to fill current or expected job vacancies ·      Creating job postings and utilizing on-line tools such as Canon’s Internal ATS, Monster, Workopolis and LinkedIn ·      Conducting first interviews using behavioral questioning techniques and scheduling second interviews as required ·      Ensuring that all pre-employment checks are completed by third party vendors and employment offers are prepared in consultation with hiring managers ·      Completing all HR new hire documentation to set up new employees ·      Representing Canon at local recruitment campaigns, liaise with post-secondary institutions to build and maintain solid relationships and develop a network of sales and service contacts to tap into candidate sources.     To Succeed, You will have: ·      A university degree (preferred) or college diploma ·      A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience in a high volume corporate environment ·      Experience in a third party recruitment agency (asset) ·      Proven success in developing and maintaining effective consultative relationships with demanding and results-driven business partners, both internal and external ·      Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French ·      Strong time management skills ·      A high level of energy, urgency, problem solving skills and self motivation ·      Attention to detail, the ability to multi-task under pressure and work with minimum supervision.
