Websphere MQ Architect/Administrator - Onsite - New York, NY - Web Services Ecommerce Network Architect WebSphere
This is an onsite job for 6 months in New York City. This is a senior position that requires technical excellence and deep knowledge of Websphere MQ, Message Broker as well as broad knowledge of other related technology in an ecommerce environment. This is a hands on roll and the individual must be must be able to perform all task assigned as well as the day to day administration function. Required Skills: Experience in administration, installation and configuration of IBM Websphere MQ & MB products * experience in IT working with Message Oriented Middleware products and file transfer solutions. * experience working as an IT Architect designing solutions. Role-based Certification (Open Group IT Architect) or Product Certification(WMQ) * experience writing and reviewing complex technical documents, specifications, and requirements. * Must have strong architecture and design methodology background * Must be able to work with teams of people of vastly different skill and experience levels. * Expert level knowledge of Visio and other architect level tools. Strong understanding of web architecture, protocols and environments Pluses: With respect to MQ/Messaging experience, the candidate should have design experience with: - Experience with WAS or JBoss - Clustering - High Availability - Multiple Instance Queue Managers Client Connections - MQ Objects - Testing - Security - Capacity Planning and Performance Tuning - Monitoring and Management (QPASA) Thanks and we look forward to discussing this opportunity with you!
