Description: Federal Government client seeks a Remedy Developer at their facility in Eagan, MN. This is a 6+ month contract with possible extension. Required Qualifications: - Expert knowledge: o BMC Remedy ARS 7.x o Remedy ITSM suites 7.x and above - specifically: X Help Desk X Service Desk X Problem and Change Management o BMC supporting applications: X Remedy CMDB X Approval Server X Remedy Mid Tier X Remedy Migrator - Expert knowledge of Remedy programming methodologies and standard software development life cycles (SDLC) including: creation, enhancements, configuration, and workflow requests. - Detailed knowledge of ITIL Foundation concepts for continuous optimization of current and future tools - Detailed knowledge of application platforms supported by midrange including: Solaris, SuSE Linux, and Websphere - Strong familiarity with supporting Remedy applications including: Oracle, Web Services XML, Crystal Reports and Remedy API - Ability to analyze, approve and deploy customized Remedy enhancement modules - Must be a US citizen or Permanent Resident 1. Preferred Qualifications: - Proven ability to be responsible for the daily administration, maintenance, monitoring and support for multiple Remedy applications and servers in a highly-available 24X7 environment - Excellent analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to express technical issues to non-technical customers - Detailed knowledge of applicable security policies and standards - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering or related field - Ability to work independently with minimal direction - Ability to communicate to a wide variety of audiences, both business and technical - Available immediately - Local to Eagan, MN  2. Additional Provisions: - Pass mandated clearance process to include drug screening, criminal history check and credit check. - All candidates must be US Citizens or have permanent residence status. - Cannot have more than 30 consecutive days outside the United States within the last five years. Military Service excluded. Place and Period of Performance: - Hours of support: X Expected to be available for on-call response in order to provide the client services with a 24X7 emergency response capability. X The standard work week will be 5 days a week and 8 hours per day preferable Monday through Friday.
