Project Description: ------------------------- * This project involves the design and development of an evaluation platform used to test the functionality of new Intel designed Power Management Integrated Controllers (PMIC) * The hardware design of the board for this project requires a Windows GUI to drive the operation of the microcontrollers and the automation of the collection and storage of functional output from PMIC * This hardware and software tool may be proliferated to PMIC Si supply base for support of future platforms Daily Responsibilities: ------------------------------ * translate architectural and SW requirements into functional code * test, debug, and validate SW blocks and revisions through release Necessary Skills (Must Have): ------------------------------------- - C/C++/C#, .NET - Software localization - Microsoft Development tools: Visual Studio - Strong communication and presentation skills - Use of software development tools, environments, and lifecycle - Demonstrated ability to design and implement real solutions - Developing applications on Intel Architecture (IA) - Experience with debugging user- and kernel- mode problems using Microsoft development tools (Visual Studio, WinDBG, etc.) Additional Skills Desired (Nice to Have): ------------------------------------------------------ One or more of the following area is highly preferred: Python/Perl/Bash, Linux basics.
