Job Overview: As a Systems Administrator he/she will Build, Move, Add, and Change Windows Systems Administration starting as Consultant in a right-to-hire scenario. You'll manage information technology infrastructure for 10,000+ end-users, applications, software, server hardware, and databases. Job Responsibilities: - Manage Windows Server 2003/2008, and Active Directory environment, including a new Microsoft SCCM 2007 project. - Monitor and resolve drive space issues; install service packs, hot fixes, and security updates. - Support all HP, Dell, and Dell Windows Desktop Engineering efforts. - Monitor SAN and tape backup performance, optimizing, and troubleshooting as needed. - Participate in special projects, quality assurance, and reporting. - Interface with enterprise vendors of Windows Desktop software and hardware. - Build and maintain desktop application images for new and existing equipment. - Work independently to identify risk, propose solutions, and ultimately secure data. - Generate technical specifications, change control, support and maintenance documentation. Job Qualifications: - Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred. - Two to five years Windows Server Systems Administration experience in an enterprise environment. - Demonstrated experience using Microsoft SCCM 2007 to push updates is required. - Excellent build, move, add, and change skills for Windows Server 2003/2008. - Good interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. - Active Directory Policy and documentation creation, maintenance, and education. - Microsoft MCP, MCSE, MCTS, or MCITP Certification preferred, but not required. - Experience with installation, upgrades, service pack, hot fixes, security patches, and Active Directory administration. - Incumbent should be able to coordinate, manage, and complete multiple tasks effectively.
