Scientific research organization seeking to expand their analytical laboratory.  As a member of the Analytical Development team, this role will support the research and development programs at a growing medical device company through analytical method development, validation and transfer efforts, with special emphasis on medical device support.  With an expertise in laboratory techniques commonly used in the analysis of pharmaceutical products, this position will help to ensure that suitable methods are in place to evaluate samples using equipment qualification and analyze, interpret and report final results in accordance with company standard operating procedures, cGMPs and FDA guidelines.  Will assist with analysis of medical device samples, synthesis products, solutions and other materials using Chromatography sample preparation, HPLC and GC instrumentation and other wet chemistry methods as needed. Background Requirements:  BS degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry or related with two years hands-on experience with HPLC, GC to include related software (Waters Empower or Millennium) within a cGMP FDA pharmaceutical or medical device laboratory preferred.  Must have strong documentation background and provide solid support of research findings using a laboratory notebook in compliance with GLP standards.  Individual must be able to execute tasks accurately and precisely and work well both independently and as part of a growing team.
