These professionals will be providing CAD and technical assistance as needed to the firm's project teams. The Mechanical Designers will be team players, will maintain a cordial and cooperative attitude in the department and in the company and perform all other related work, as assigned or as apparent. Duties: Assembling of dimensional control layouts and sections Designing and detailing mechanical components Design drives (horse power, reducer, ratios, speeds, roller chain size, drive belt selections, etc.) Ability to design shafting Ability to generate all types of steel layouts. Limited exercise of engineering judgment as required in making design decisions in areas including drive designs and air and water piping designs.
