Due to an internal promotion, an opportunity is available for a talented and progressive teacher specialising in English to join a dynamic team of 8 teachers to teach KS3, KS4 English across the age and ability range. The school expanding and is moving in to brand new classrooms this September, with the latest technology oversubscribed and attracts students from a wide range of areas which creates a vibrant, multicultural atmosphere. The school produces excellent results year on year with 85% of students achieving 5 or more *A-C GCSE grades in 2011. You will be teaching bright motivated students who want to learn and you must have high expectations of yourself and ensure that each student is catered for and maximises their potential. Each classroom is equipped with new interactive whiteboards and the English department has 3 purpose built ICT suites. The school has been reported by Ofsted as 'outstanding' and is classed as 'Grade 1'. Someone bringing in fresh ideas would be ideal for this position. The position is offered up to £150 per day dependant on experience.
