Urgent request for an English teacher in North West London to start in September on a temp to perm basis. All students attending the school have special educational needs and/or disabilities. Many have had disrupted education, having been subject to exclusion or experienced significant difficulties at school. The school offers an excellent level of education and care and considerably improves the life chances of highly vulnerable pupils. There is a very strong emphasis throughout the school on boosting confidence and self-esteem. We are looking for a strong English Teacher who shares this commitment to the high quality education of vulnerable pupils You should be an innovative English Teacher with strong subject knowledge and proven ability to engage students who face severe barriers to learning. Ideally for this post you should have experience teaching in a PRU or similar environment, but applications are welcomed from English teachers who are strong with behaviour management and would like to progress their career teaching challenging students.
