Bureau Assistant M&S Money Bureau de Change 6 months M&S Money Fixed term contract Basic Salary of: (£15,022 - £18,778 pro rato) + TA (£4000 pro rata) Location: HSBC HQ, 8 Canada Square. London, E14 Department Profile: On Level 25 at HSBC Head Office, this high profile location is one of 122 M&S Money Bureaux de Change. Set apart from an M&S Retail store, Level 25 Bureau is unique. Accessible to employees and visitors only, foreign exchange services are provided in up to 56 currencies and travellers' cheques. This is a fantastic opportunity to be the face of M&S Money within a HSBC environment. You will create meaningful and lasting relationships with customers and ensure that M&S class service is at the heart of everything you do. Scope of Responsibilities * To provide the highest standards of quality and service to M&S Bureau de Change customers by pro-actively identifying and meeting their needs. * Processing foreign exchange transactions with financial accuracy and precision in cash management to ensure minimal cash differences. * Demonstrating engagement in the M&S Money brand and achieving high levels of customer satisfaction to aid retention and encourage new custom. * Uphold a comprehensive knowledge of products, services, policies and procedures with particular attention to Fraud prevention, Anti Money Laundering and Security. * Adherence to audit and legal requirements. * Communicating and building strong relationships with customers, management, third party suppliers and fundamental M&S Money and HSBC departments. * Contribute to achieve/exceed Bureau operating plan. * Maintain excellence in personal and workplace presentation. Individual Requirements: * You will have previous experience of face to face customer sales and service in a Retail Bank or Travel Money environment ideally with an understanding of Bureau de Change operations. * High awareness of Anti Money Laundering procedures, security and banking regulations is vital. * To succeed in this role you will be an active listener, have excellent verbal and written communication skills and give attention to detail. Numeracy, accuracy and basic computer skills are essential. There will be an expectation for you to be customer driven at all times and be able to work under pressure dealing with large volumes of customers and high value transactions. * Highly adaptable, you will be self motivated and confident in taking responsibility for decisions, but also be able to work within a team. At M&S Money we invest in our people and training is imperative in order to deliver against our brand values. As such, we will ensure that comprehensive training is provided.
