*Assessing and writing reports on the needs and best interests of the child *Preparing written and verbal evidence for the courts and making appropriate recommendations based on the child's wishes and best interests. *Ensuring that the well-being and safety of the child is paramount throughout whole involvement *Conducting an impartial investigation of the child's circumstances and to keep under review any changes in the course of the proceedings *Communicating effectively with the child, family and significant others to ensure an understanding of the role of the Senior practitioner, the proceedings involved and where appropriate the recommendations made to the Court *Assisting parents and other relevant parties in dispute to co-operate in the child's best interests in order to minimise the need for Court intervention To apply for this role you must have: *Qualified in Social Work (MA, BA or DipSW) *Fully GSCC registered *3+ years Children and Families Experience *Court Work Experience
