Planning Lead Workforce Management
Our client, a leading General Insurance organisation is currently looking for a Planning Lead to undertake Workforce Management planning for a 6 month contract. This role can be based either in Liverpool or Manchester, with travel between the two. As the Planning Lead, you will be responsible for planning and organising significant areas of operational activity. You will spend the majority of your time planning, managing and deploying resources to make the best possible use of available investment, technologies and people. Typical Responsibilities: Work closely with the senior team in operations and other functions in order to understand and anticipate workflows, peaks and troughs, investment priorities and constraints, etc Have a thorough understanding of the resources available to you and have the flexibility to respond quickly and effectively to changing demands Develop business and operational plans and budgets to ensure there is sufficient capacity to meet requirements Capacity planning to achieve specified outcomes within specific timeframes and suggesting viable alternatives/options Planning and prioritising activities and coping with contingencies Tracking progress against plan, reporting and recommending or taking action to maintain delivery schedules and solve problems when or before they arise Leading and conducting performance and trend analysis to enable proactive capacity planning decisions and recommendations Leading, motivating and coaching staff Communicating effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders Skills Required: Typically you will be an experienced operations manager with strong planning and analytical skills Ability to handle complexity in the form of planning for multiple objectives, dealing with competing or conflicting demands, managing interdependencies, etc Be an expert in workforce management practices, analytical analysis and planning Achieves target operating goals and plans on time and on budget Anticipates and/or acts promptly to identify and resolve problems Clarifies business and customer context and priorities that shape operating plans Excellent stakeholder management skills and a clear communicator Alexander Mann Solutions, a Recruitment Process Outsourcing Company, may in the delivery of some of its services be deemed to operate as an Employment Agency or an Employment Business.
