Are you a support worker with experience in working with Adults from 18 -65 with learning disabilities? Our client is looking to recruit support workers to join the team as and when extra support is needed. Hours are flexible and can work well around other commitments. Some of the Service Users will have complex needs and challenging behaviour, mental health issues, Autism and Epilepsy. The facility recognises, respects and supports individuality, encouraging each person to take as much control over their lives and decision making as they can, while offering care, support and guidance appropriate to their needs. It would be desirable for applicants to hold a minimum of Level 2 in Social Care and have at least 6 months experience in a similar role be reference checked and hold a current CRB. Duties will include daily life activities such as going on walks, shopping and a mixture of other daily tasks from cleaning to all round general support. No working day will be the same this is a very varied job role. This is an active and highly rewarding career choice with great prospects for the right candidates. Working hours are shifts which are worked to cover 24 hours. Shifts are carried out on early, late and night shifts covering Monday to Friday and weekend. Rates of pay start at 6.08 per hour.
