A growing mining group is looking for a group financial controller to cover for a period of unexpected sickness. The departing individual has had to leave at short notice and therefore the person coming in needs to be fully up to speed to all activities carried out by the Group Financial controller. There will be a short handover but ideally you will have had prior experience of running large finance functions in the past. You must :- Be a fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) Have experience of mining Have a very good technical understanding Have previous experience of consolidating multi-entity companies Have management experience Have managed large teams based in situ and on site Due to the necessity of this role to be filled quickly there is no specific job specification.
