PMO Lead - Retail Banking - Edinburgh A banking organisation, requires a proven PMO Lead to establish a best in class Project Management Office to support the Project Managers in the change team. The responsibilities of the include: - Ensure the project management methodology and toolsets are utilised on the programme, supporting their use by the project managers and business leads - Provide the frameworks for effective management of risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies - Maintain the programme level risks and Issues logs, ensuring they are accurate and complete - Effectively control programme financials, reporting progress and variances to the Programme Manager and key stakeholders - Provide hands on support to project managers in developing plans, detailing issues, risks and dependencies - Effective embedding of information security policies across the programme, including maintenance of the NDA list - Creation/collation of steering group packs and other key reporting documents - Maintenance and publication of key meeting actions and decisions Requirements: - Proven track record of establishing Project Management Offices - Proven track record of managing best in class Project Management Offices - Retail Banking experience - Microsoft Projects expert - Significant experience in managing senior stakeholders - Significant experience working closely with Project and Programme Managers to deliver large scale projects This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a major organisation, going through rapid growth and change in the Banking industry.
