Our client is seeking a Senior Front End Web Developer for a Contract W-2 position in New York , NY .   This resource will work closely with Implementation Manager to develop personalized, intelligent InfoSites, Alerts, TAOs and other site-based web assets. The resource will also help guide associate producers in managing the development of AJAX, web service interfaces, campaigns, polls, and other advanced web technologies and tools. This resource will be called on as well for special projects requiring JavaScript, XHTML, CSS, JSP, and XML.   Responsibilities: §        Transforming design shells into HTML §        Composing JavaScript, CSS, and leveraging AJAX to develop rich website functionality §        Helping troubleshoot launched promotional activities   Required Skills: §        Strong understanding of current web-based email constraints and web browser rendering differences §        Solid familiarity with imaging tools (Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator CS2 and higher) §        Advanced knowledge of standards compliant HTML, CSS, JavaScript §        Strong working knowledge of AJAX and XML §        Ability to troubleshoot technical problems logically and systematically §        Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes pressurized environment §        Ability to hand code HTML and CSS   Desired Skills: Experience with JSP and ASP 2 a plus   Education/Certifications: §        BS or equivalent in computer technologies §        Minimum 3 years of related experience with front-end web development and web content publishing systems
