SAP MM Consultant | San Jose, CA | 6-12 months + Qualifications: Must have at least five (5) years of hands-on configuration experience in SAP MM/FI module, especially in the areas of master data management, Procurement (PO and STOs), Materials Document Configuration, and inventory Management. Ideal consultant will have completed at least 3 full lifecycle of a large scale SAP Retail implementation, and have an in-depth understanding of SAP integration. Excellent communication and analytic skills required to understand complex business process and requirements and transform them into simple solutions in SAP. Capable to work directly with technical teams such as ABAP and Basis and be able to define technical requirements for those teams. Experience in fast paced, dynamic environments. Should have good understanding of FI/SD integration in the area of inventory management and account determination as well as EDI, process codes, partner profiles, etc. Responsibilities: Work in a highly integrated, cross-functional environment, leading and supporting various projects. Perform detailed system analysis, develop functional and technical specifications, and make recommendations for SAP Retail applications. Work closely with Point Of Sales (POS), Data Warehouse, ABAP, Basis and other teams in design and implementation of SAP Retail functionalities. Perform system configuration, modification and set-up for new projects, and enhancements to existing projects. Perform system testing and integration validations. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) conducted by business users. Provide project status update and manage documentation of designs, processes and configurations.
