VARITE Inc. is looking for Linux System Admin/ Linux Admin for one of its clients in San Francisco, CA. Position: Linux System Admin Location: San Francisco, CA USA 94105 Duration: 12 Months [Potential Conversion] Client is looking for a self motivated person to join its IT department in supporting technology requirements of its users across the Linux environment. The primary focus will be on the Linux platform (Ubuntu) and include the following areas: Linux OS support, Linux application support, OS RAID troubleshooting, desktop hardware support, maintaining security and patch levels, remote troubleshooting, and supporting Linux policy management through various tools. The Senior Linux Configuration Release Engineer will contribute to the overall success of the IT Operations organization by providing prompt and complete resolution to technical issues raised by the business. He/she will interface daily with other IT technical staff, will be working on assignments, sharing best practices with team members, and delivering services related his/her area of responsibility.
