Possibility project could extend beyond scheduled end date of 6 months. The candidate will be asked to design a new ASP.NET application for Operational Planning. The software will include the planning of expenditures for Division of Wildlife projects. The engagement will require the candidate to analyze an existing classic ASP application and design the new ASP.NET application with a combination of existing functionality and new functionality. The candidate will work with subject matter experts and a Business Analysts to complete the desired application. Ohio Department of Natural Resources will provide the development environment and all of the tools neccessary to complete the enhancements. Primary technologies include Microsoft ASP.NET, VB.NET, DotNetNuke content management.Microsoft SQL Server 2005, and Java Scripting. Project is 6 months with the possibility of extension. Programmers typically are involved in maintenance (including production support), enhancement and development work. Programmers have a range of skills and knowledge of the technologies used and applications supported by the Application Team. The Programmer works with the Functional Architect and Technical Architecture Specialist on an as needed basis to ensure that design and code meets customer requirements.
