We are seeking a SQL Database Developer with strong C# .NET skills to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in transforming the future of technology and public health. This is a critical job; states rely solely on these instruments and the technical support that goes with them for their surveillance needs; without it, surveillance for autism and cerebral palsy would be halted. The selected candidate will maintain extremely complex interactive data collection instruments in support of our client's initiatives utilizing both SQL 2008/ ASP.Net. The data storage is hosted on the web in the Secure Data Network (web enabled applications). The applicant should have strong knowledge of the coding guidelines for the Secure Data Network. They will also provide telephone/EMAIL support for these instruments for up to ten remote locations in various areas of the continental United States. The resource may be called upon to develop, maintain, and support other surveillance and/or epidemiological applications in SQL Server/ASP.Net. Additional Job Details: Required Skills Proficiency in SQL Server 2008 and ASP.Net required. Data Management/programming experience in the PC environment along with working knowledge of Visual Basic. Must be comfortable creating user-friendly, standalone program specific specialized data collection, data entry, data management, and tracking programs in a variety of microcomputer packages, including Microsoft Excel.
