PRIMARY PURPOSE:   Logistics Operations Analyst  Primarily responsible for management of open order pool and work generation. Will work with the Logistics management team to assist in prioritizing and scheduling freight to meet shipping schedules Requires daily interaction with the 3PL, customer service and sales teams.     JOB DUTIES: Analyze and resolve problems affecting DC planning. Shipment planning for customer and 3PL. Systemically prepare orders for DC processing. Create and submit daily set-up reports to support DC planning. Develop and analyze query tools to insure accurate information for decision making and reporting. Work closely with 3PL operations to ensure smooth flow of work. Communicate with distribution management to alert of priorities and potential problems. Report, communicate and lead monthly meeting regarding available to sell product. Monitor and maintain noncompliant process. Provide weekly status updates to business leads. Route customer product through customer TMS. Assisting other departmental responsibilities as needed. Miscellaneous reporting as directed. Travel as required.     QUALIFICATIONS: • College education a plus. • Strong analytical ability. • Strong critical thinking and decision making skills.  • Excellent written and oral communication skills. • Attention to detail/organizational skills. • Effective management of multiple projects. • Excellent follow up and follow through skills • Proven problem solving skills. • Strong time management and self motivation skills • Advanced PC skills - Access, Word, Excel required • Access experience very helpful • Knowledge of AS/400 systems a plus (Movex, PkMS, etc.)
