Volt Workforce Solutions is URGENTLY in the need of Electronic Assemblers for 1st shift (6:30a-3:00p); 2nd shift (2:50p-10:50p); 3rd shift (10:40p-6:40a) in the NW Houston, TX area. Must have a minimum of 6 months electronic assembly experience. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen prior to employment. Responsibilities include assisting supervisory and non-supervisory employees with various tasks. These tasks may include, but are not limited to, basic manufacture, assembly, installation or processing of components, subsystems or systems, operation of basic hand tools, operation of assigned production/manufacturing machinery, compiling data for reports, assisting with daily collection of production statistics, scheduling work for designated area of operation, perform routine operating maintenance on one or more types of equipment, assisting new employees, work with other work units/departments, both internal and possibly external to the company. May be responsible for customer design programs and software utilization. Applies basic knowledge of the job skills and company policies and procedures to complete a variety of assignments/tasks. Good understanding of the general/technical aspects of the job. Works on assignments that are routine to moderately complex in nature and require basic problem resolution and independent judgment.
