Remedy Service Management Engineer
GoAhead Solutions has a great opportunity in Seattle, WA for a Remedy Service Management Engineer. This would be a two to five month contact to start, contract to hire, or full-time opportunity. Job Description: The ideal engineer is motivated, results oriented and committed to providing outstanding customer service every day. Responsibilities: -Requirements gathering and documentation to support the design and development of a new Remedy ITSM 7.x application -Design, develop and support application integrations and interfaces including data loading and validation -Maintain integrity and accuracy of configuration management database (CMDB) -Develop workflow processes and forms to request, track, and manage work requests -Develop dashboard and reporting capabilities -Perform product installations, patches and upgrades as applicable -Perform problem analysis and 24 / 7 on-call support -Provide support to users and help decommission legacy systems -Implement strategies, tools, and processes that improve the flow of knowledge and collaboration to Company employees -Develop strong relationships with all IT and BIO business partners -Analyze operational and user requirements to deliver solutions to meet business objectives -Meet ongoing and overlapping deadlines in a fast-paced environment -Handle multiple assignments simultaneously and coordinate deliverables and dependencies with other groups Qualifications: -Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience preferred -Minimum 5 years general systems analysis and application development/support experience -Minimum 5 years experience with BMC Remedy Development Platform -Integration experience with development of Remedy API -Experience architecting, implementing, developing, and integration with BMC Remedy ITSM solutions -Experience deploying, configuring, and integrating ITSM modules -Strong understanding of Remedy performance tuning and optimization -Experience with MS SQL -Familiarity with ITIL a plus -Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate technical solutions to non-technical audiences
