Class 2 ADR Drivers
WasteCare specialise in waste management, recycling and waste disposal and have 11 depots across the UK. WasteCare’s requirements will be mainly for Class 1 and Class 2 ADR drivers to fulfil peaks in demand and maintain staff levels. This is a temp to perm basis on a 10 week period with the hope of becoming a permanant placement, Licence – no worker supplied to WasteCare should have any more than 6 points on their licence Experience – candidates should have at least 2 years of experience relevant to the type of vehicle they will be driving ADR – it is preferable that all candidates supplied should have an ADR level 4 qualification (packaging) Customer service skills – candidates must be smart of appearance and have excellent communication and customer service skills. As a temporary worker for WasteCare, candidates will have direct contact with WasteCare’s clients, so must be friendly and approachable. Trustworthy - Any worker supplied to WasteCare should be of a trustworthy nature. It is likely that from time to time, workers will come across items they wish to keep, but they must be made aware from the start that any waste belongs to WasteCare, and taking anything without permission is theft. If, while on duty for WasteCare, a candidate is interested in one of the items collected, they should report this to WasteCare back on site, who will make best endeavours to make this item available to them at a reduced price.
