Our client is currently seeking a Logistics Supervisor in Brooklyn Heights, Ohio. Main Duties: * Manage, organize and supervise regional courier operations * Primary contact for region on special courier needs or inquiries on deliveries * Dispatching couriers as needed * Coordinate Courier replacements due to call offs or other reasons, based on bargaining agreement rules * Maintaining Courier defined schedules and routes, notifying key department stakeholders when route schedules will deviate from norm * Monitoring and reporting on route compliance, speed, break and travel time via GPS Tool (PAST TRACK) * Manage time off requests via TORT, based on bargaining agreement rules * KRONOS time schedule input, time review and corrections (OT, Shift Diff, hours, no lunch, etc.), review KRONOS time exception forms * Time off scheduling and recording, to support Manager's approval of time * Fleet management - repairs scheduling with authorized vendor, documenting maintenance on established spreadsheets * Follow defined incident/accident procedures when situations arise * Courier PCard statement review and preparation for manager approval. Review fuel usage and other purchases * Watching for adverse weather conditions for route adjustments * Documentation Courier non-compliance with Policies and Procedures and bargaining agreement rules; notification of manager when issues arise * Work with the scope of Unit Based Team (UBT) * Perform RSC warehouse functions as assigned Minimum Requirements: * Applications to know: KRONOS, MS Office, Lotus Notes. TORT (MyHr) * Nice to have: Tow Motor certified experience Experience with the following is required: * Computer * Cell Phone * Copy of bargaining Agreement for review * GPS documentation * Spreadsheet list * Call List * NUID/ Network Access/shared drive * Lotus Notes 6.5 * Minimum Educational Requirements * High School Diploma or GED, unless higher degree is required * Productivity Software * Microsoft Excel * Microsoft Office * Microsoft PowerPoint * Microsoft Word
