Embedded Software Engineer Based in Gloucestershire Duration: 6-12months Key Skills: Embedded Software, Embedded C, C++, QNX, DSP, RTOS A multinational focused on Research and Development for the defence sector is looking to recruit an additional Embedded Software Engineer for a 6-12month contract. This position is the result of a successful period in the company's history coupled with significant potential for growth. Within this role you'll be focusing on the Embedded Software development on a QNX real time operating system. You'll be utilising skills with Embedded C, C++ and some Visual Basic. This work will be focused on developing embedded software that is supported on ARM7 processors, PIC processors and Xilinx Microblaze processors. Essential Skills: Embedded C QNX RTOS VC++ Full Life Cycle Design (Requirement, functional, design and test specifications) Desirable Skills: C# Radio Communication Understanding (GSM, CDMA, Wifi) Visual Basic Embedded Implementations This is an opportunity for a 6-12month contract within a reputable multinational organisation.
