Job Title: QA Engineer / Tester - (Selenium, Specflow, C#) Location: London Duration: 3 - 6 months Key Skills: Selenium, Jira, C#, Test, ISEB, Specflow, Testing, Automation Testing, WebDriver Our client is looking for a QA Engineer / Tester - (Selenium, Specflow, C#) for an immediate contract assignment. Our client is a rapidly growing organisation based in London with a large team of dedicated engineers working hard to develop and test their products. In this role the QA Engineer / Tester - (Selenium, Specflow, C#) will be focused on test automation of our clients business support system. The QA Engineer / Tester - (Selenium, Specflow, C#) will be required to: • Create test plans, code automated testsand execute automated tests against deliverables of the sprint; • Ensure thorough testing of the system is executed and the quality of the delivered feature or fix is to the highest level; • Work with the rest of the test community within the development team to ensure that the best practices are being followed and evolved with industry standards. The QA Engineer / Tester - (Selenium, Specflow, C#) will have the below skillset: • The ideal candidate will have proven experience in an IT testing role with strong manual and automated testing experience using a range of automated tools; • You will have worked in a full Software Development Lifecycle and exposed to change request procedures; • Good understanding of the Software Test Lifecycle across various development methodologies; • Have the ability to write test plans/scenarios from requirements/acceptance criteria and documenting procedures; • Some development background, ideally in OO; • Ability to write automation scripts in C#; • Experience on automated UI testing frameworks such as Selenium (RC but preferentially 2.0) using WebDriver; • Experience on developing/designing acceptance testing with SpecFlow; • Ability to review manual test scripts and convert them to automated scripts, ensuring requirements coverage; • Good communicator with ability to work with developers and end-users, reviewing requirements and confirming business coverage; • Experience in defect reporting and management through to resolution; • Proven analytical and problem solving skills; • Have an analytical and strategic way to thinking to resolve technical issues.
