Production Planner/Schedulers:   Our marine industry client in Pascagoula, Mississippi is seeking several contract Production Planner/Schedulers to support their shipbuilding team. The contactors will: ·         Plan, prepare, issue and control production schedules and coordinates with material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production requirements. ·         Advise management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials and services are provided as needed.  ·         Schedule equipment and personnel, confirms material supply and demands, prepares work orders or purchase requests for the production or purchase of components or parts based on a master production schedule, shop load and inventory requirements. ·         Coordinate interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, etc. ·         Schedule and expedite the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers and requests for shipping orders.   Preferred Qualifications: ·          Experience using scheduling software (preferably Primavera). ·          A working knowledge of Critical Path Management (CPM). ·          An understanding of Shipbuilding or construction sequencing. ·          An understanding of resourcing loading in a scheduling environment. ·          Understand IMP/IMS development and maintenance. ·          Understanding of Critical Path Analysis. ·          Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent and fourteen (14) years of related experience. ·          Or Bachelor’s degree and six (6) years of related experience. ·          Or Master’s degree and four (4) years of related experience. ***Interested candidates email resumes to: e-chin@caliper.net
