Senior Project Manager - Data Center Storage Project We're seeking a Senior Project Manager with previous Data Center or Storage project experience and a strong knowledge of RUP for a top Biotech/Pharmaceutical company. In this role the Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing, planning, budgeting, and executing an enterprise level Data Center or Storage project for a global leader in the Biotech/Pharmaceutical industry. *****MUST HAVE PRIOR EXPERIENCE MANAGING A DATA CENTER OR STORAGE PROJECT***** Job Summary: The primary responsibility of this position is to oversee one or more projects in the company's Security Initiative. Responsible for assembling project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources, and developing and managing schedules to ensure the timely completion of project within budget and timeline. Must be familiar with the systems scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member in order to effectively coordinate the activities of the team. Job Responsibilities: Manages one or more projects Fosters increased organizational maturity in project management and is a champion of PM processes. Assures that best practices are applied to all projects. Manages the successful creation, modification expansion and transition of complex information systems, related processes and programs on all projects for the assigned areas. Anticipates, evaluates and resolves multiple, simultaneous organizational project issues and risks, delays and problems by utilizing project management and business expertise. Promotes and develops communication and coordination between or among project team members and management Creates and manages project documentation. Comply with practices, policies, procedures, legal requirements, and goals of project sponsors and approved methodologies. Acts as a workflow coordinator to ensure resources are being optimally utilized. Basic Qualifications: College degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business or the Life Sciences preferred with 8+ years related experience or its equivalent. Background in computer systems information security Preferred Qualifications: Infrastructure & data center background Large storage rationalization and permission management background Experience with Varonis (DatAdvantage, DataPrivilege) a plus, but not required
