Position: Electrical Maintenance Technician Reference: BLADE1854RS Location: Lewisham, London Salary: �25 000 - �31 500 pa Duration: 6 Month Contract Start: ASAP Hours: Monday � Friday, 37.5 hours per week Our Client is urgently looking for a Electrical Maintenance Technician to provide maintenance, operation and installation of a range of building services plant, equipment and services, also act as team leader and supervise the work of the engineering team. Main Duties and Responsibilities � Responsible for mechanical, electrical and electronic control systems on plant and equipment. � Service, test, diagnose, repair and calibrate advanced mechanical, electrical and electronic management and control systems including fire alarms, security systems, building management systems (i.e. trend). � Carry out certain supervisory duties in the management of the maintenance team. � Produce and input works schedules using Maintenance Management system. � Assist the Line Manager with completion of statutory insurance work and inspections. � Working knowledge of sterilisation processes. � Participate in the �on-call� rota on a 1 in 4 basis, and be prepared to cover others for sickness, leave or other absence. � Carry out system isolations to facilitate service shutdowns or other works as appropriate inc. fire alarms. � Supervise and assist Contractors in carrying out surveys and works as required. Qualifications / Key Skills Required: � City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 Electrical Installations � 17th Edition. � 5 Years Skilled Experience � Competencies in Planned Preventative Maintenance, Diagnostic skills, Control systems, BMS, Heating & Ventilation, Health & Safety To apply for this position, please email your CV to Kathy Smulkyte at Blade.
