Overview: This Industrial plant machinery manufacturer is currently looking to recruit for a Mechanical Design Engineer on a 6 month rolling contract to be based in the Gloucestershire area. The Company: Having been established for over 15 years, this successful privately owned organisation has recently tendered for and won numerous projects for a range of internationally based clientele. The Role of a Mechanical Design Engineer: You will be designing a range of bespoke industrial plant machinery and the components that accompany the machines. You will be using Solidworks (producing 2D & 3D drawings) of the gears, drives, chains and motors. Key Skills: You will need to be a Mechanical design engineer with experience using Solidworks. Having experience using MathCad would be highly advantageous for the position. You will be working in a small team of Design engineers, so having excellent communications is essential for the position.
