The Company Robert Half Management Resources is currently recruiting for an Interim Finance Director to join a SME Manufacturing organisation in the West Midlands The Role The ideal candidate will be an experienced ACA Finance Director with a background in manufacturing businesses, turnover circa £10-50m. The candidate must take a hands on approach and be willing to get into the numbers as well as operate at strategic and board level to drive the business forward. Board level communication is essential as the Finance Director will be working very closely with the CEO, the business and the board.A high level of Microsoft Excel understanding and skill is required for this role. The ideal candidate will be keen to drive through improvements to the quality of reporting and management information through Excel modelling and data manipulation.A good understanding of tax and treasury a bonus, as is an understanding of cash management; the business generates a lot of cash so some understanding of investments would be useful.Long term the business is looking to improve and expand its turnover and growth. This is the ideal role for a candidate keen to drive through change and grow with the business.The Finance director will manage a small finance team. Salary & Benefits The role will pay circa £450 and £550 per day on a ltd company basis for a duration of 3-4 months.
